The RHINO name is a slang word for Money. Philip Marlowe, Sam Spade, Mike Hammer and Continental Op. People like Cagney, Bogart, Robinson and Raft, used this type of slang when they talked. The word RHINO is still used today in many parts of Africa and Asia as slang for money. We also believe the RHINO is a great symbol for our company because the animal never, ever quits charging! Unlike other animals that hang around in large groups waiting to be fed or killed, they are always out there looking for great opportunities to find what they need. RHINO'S also have thick skins and take on adversity with a driving, forceful energy that constantly advances their position. The WorldWideRhino name embraces the fact that we are becoming a world wide market place, on a scale never seen before in the world! Events in other countries now affect our markets and other markets around the world. Bradley H. Maness, born and raised in Rockford, Illinois and attended parochial school in downtown Rockford. Some days, while waiting for this ride home, he would wander in and out of downtown businesses. One business he found fascinating and left a lasting impression, was a brokerage company called Horn Blower & Wheeks. After developing a relationship with the manager, he bought his first stock at the age of 12, making an incredible 30% in 6 months! That is all it took. He decided from then on to learn more about the stock market. After high school he attended a local college and received degrees in Accounting, Real Estate and Materials Management. As Paul Harvey would say, "now you know the rest of the history." At first, Bradley, like many investors, depended upon financial managers, advisors and stock brokers to provide him advice on the best way to invest and grow his personal portfolio. Based on the advice of some of the top investment managers in the business, he saw only marginal returns in good years and significant losses in bad years. Bradley found out it was all about where you got your advice to invest. Bradley has became a successful, self taught independent investor for the last 23 years. His research has led him to correctly predict business events for the past 10 years. About five years ago, a few of this friends asked him to email them some of the facts he found interesting while researching world markets. This became the first free weekly newsletter. Looking at just the past five years, he has predicted the end of the Dot.com in 1999; the large drop in Mutual funds in 2000-2003; the ongoing Pension debacle in 2000-2005; the rise of Gold futures market in 2002, correctly predicting gold would reach $500 by 2005; the rise of the bull market in oil in 2003, predicting oil to hit $65 by 2005. In 2003, our readers began to ask me for more detailed information on individual stocks and funds. This is when the free newsletter became Rhino Trends investment newsletter and the World Wide Rhino idea was born. WorldWideRhino LLC was created in 2005 and became a publisher of many financial publications. Investors have used his publications to make finical decisions that allowed them to pay off their homes or buy their first home, send their kids to college, supplement their 401K, IRA, stay retired or have a better retirement. Although Bradley never became a stock broker or a financial advisor, his independent research has made him an investor/ entrepreneur that many large stock brokers wish they had working for them.
